Policies & FAQs

What if I can’t make the pick up day and/or time?

If you're unable to make it on the scheduled pick-up day and time, please inform me as soon as possible. You can text me at (510) 359-7192 between 9 AM and 12 PM to arrange a new pick-up time, ensuring it's before noon on the designated pick-up day.

I will do my best to accommodate one additional pick-up based on my availability. Please note, if you're unable to attend the second scheduled pick-up, your order will be forfeited and donated.

Please be aware that if you do not show up to pick up your order and fail to communicate with me within the time frame mentioned above, your order will be forfeited. It is important to reach out if you encounter any issues with your scheduled pick-up time. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I get a refund?

I do not offer refunds as baked goods cannot be restocked once returned. After orders are picked up, I cannot ensure they have remained untampered, even if they appear uneaten or unopened. Therefore, I am unable to accept returns.

Why can’t I order past/other items not currently available on the menu?

The quantity and type of items I can offer for a given bake drop is calculated based on  my schedule, and the availability and seasonality of ingredients.

As much as I would love for every item to be available all the time, that is simply not possible. Limiting my menu is the best way to achieve and maintain the high quality of my product and give each bake the proper time and attention it requires to craft it.

If you really want an item and it’s not currently available reach out to inquire about placing a special order.

How can I place a special and/or large order?

Special and/or large orders require a considerate schedule and time commitment and therefore can only be decided upon case by case. Feel free to send me an inquiry regarding placing a special and/or large order, here.

I will try my best to accommodate requests as my schedule allows.

Why don’t you ship orders?

Currently, I do not offer shipping for orders. As I am starting out with this endeavor, I am focusing on refining my production schedules. However, I plan to begin shipping orders in the future. Once shipping is available, it will be limited to within the state of California, in accordance with the California State Cottage Food Law.

Thank you for your understanding and support as I grow my business.

Why don’t you offer Cheesecake, or Tres Leches Cake?

These are examples of foods that need careful temperature control to stay safe because they are rich in protein and/or moisture. They must be kept out of the Temperature Danger Zone (41°F to 135°F) to prevent the rapid growth of harmful bacteria to remain safe for consumption. In compliance with California State Cottage Food Law and my county permit, I cannot sell these types of foods.
